Beginning with v8.4.0 Update 1, the EnergyPlus installers include a limited set of transition programs. This archive contains transition programs from v1.0 to v8.4.0.
This set of programs and associated files should be extracted to your \PreProcess\IDFVersionUpdater folder
This is for the Windows platform (32-bit binaries, so that they will run on 32-bit or 64-bit platforms). It will ask you to replace the IDFVersionUpdater GUI and associated libraries - do not replace these.
If any other files are duplicates, you may allow these to overwrite.
